One can either discover all the locations by simply exploring them through Patrol at the potential cost of (1) quest per attempt.
To save oneself a quest, or in case one's level is too low to explore in Patrol, one can use different items to access the locations:
- Rux's Dowsing Rods grants access to Rux's Recovered Rarities. Rux's Dowsing Rods be found from any encounter in: Dunjeons, Mountains, Hie Brasil, Shangala and Azteca.
- Hjertstone Compass grants access to the Hjertstone. It can be purchased from Djinni's Magic Shop.
- Cooling Stone of Tlaloc grants access to Patrol where the player can spend (1) quest to explore and face encounters. The Cooling Stone of Tlaloc drops from Warriors and Priests in Azteca
- Spelunk is found by spending quests in Patrol.
The earliest one can enter Caverns is level 12, since that's the level requirement of the Mounds which the Caverns is inside of.
Caverns
Is the newest area per V1.20.001 and boasting several new features such as:
- The Hjertstone
- Standing
- Personal daily rotational goods
- Gambling
- Permanent stat gain items
- New adventuring zones
- Soulbound related options
- Temporary buffs
- New equipment enhancing items
- Stacking debuff, Sweltering. Every quest you spend inside the Caverns reduces your skill by -1% or -2% stacking. Sweltering can be removed by any item that cures status effects.
Hjertstone
The Hjertstone plays a central role in the Glimmerforge Caverns patch. There you will pray, forge, dismantle and soulbind equipment related to Soulbound.
Praying
- 1. Praying at the Hjertstone gives a small amount of standing with the Dwarves.
- 2. When praying it's possible to receive Hjertstone Fragments.
- 3. It's also possible to gain a temporary buff to your Guts.
- 4. One can also receive a random Clan Attribute that lasts until reset.
- 5. One can potentially gain +1 Wits from prayers too.
Standing
Higher standing grants better "success" at praying at the Hjertstone. Needing to spend fewer quests in order to receive the "Clan" buff as well as the temporary buff to Guts.

- 1 Different level of standing with the Dwarves, Wardens of the Hjertstone, are available to both gain and lose.
- 2 Higher level of standing with the Dwarves enables more options for the players.
- 2.1 Dismantle - Requires Standing "Liked"
- 2.1.1 Dismantles the pieces of equipment with [SB=] and in return the player receives Essences.
- 2.2 Synthesize Soul Sunder - Requires Standing "Friendly"
- 2.2.1 Removes [SB=] at the cost of (1) quests, (1)Guts, (1)Wits and (1)Charm.
- 2.2.2 Removing [SB=] from the equipment and reverting it into the state it was "dropped" either with or without [BoE=].
- 2.3 Soulbind - Requires Standing "Respected"
- 2.3.1 Soulbind turns a piece of equipment into a Soulbound piece of equipment [SB=] for the cost of 4 essences. This will use the lowest quality essences you have in your bag in any combination. If you choose to later dismantle the item you will only receive 1 of the lowest essence you used to bind the item in the first place.
- 2.3.2 A Soulbound item gains 10% bonus (base) to all its ATK/DEF/Skill stats.
- 2.1 Dismantle - Requires Standing "Liked"
Gaining & Losing Standing
- 1 Gaining Standing
- 1.1 Praying at the Hjertstone grants the player a small amount standing.
- 1.2 Defeating Goblins grants a decent amount of standing.
- 1.3 Successfully helping encountered Dwarves grants a decent amount of standing.
- 2 Losing Standing
- 2.1 Defeating & Killing encountered Dwarves will result in losing standing.
- 2.2 Bribing Goblins will result in losing in standing.
Rux's Recovered Rarities
The enigmatic Rux sells goods of all sorts procured from across the lands of Dragon Court.
- Essence Exchange
- At Rux's Recovered Rarities players can exchange Essences for a lower tier Essence. For example, an Essence of Bravery (from Azteca) can be exchanged for an Essence of Honor (from Shangala) at a 1:1 ratio. It's not as simple to upgrade Essences from a lower tier to a higher tier. A random selection of 3 types of Essences per visit can be upgraded to a higher tier Essence and the ratio is not 1:1 for this, but spanning from 2:1 to 4:1. Essence of Abyss is never available in this selection.
- Daily Rotational Goods (Goods are refreshed at the start of the daily reset)
- A wide selection of items appear from Rux's daily rotational goods. Among them are the exclusive, to Rux and the Wheel of Fate, snacks! Bravery Biscuit, Silvertongue Syrup and Viridescent Tea. These new snacks are very popular items in the Glimmerforge Caverns update. They give the user permanent stat gains. Bravery Biscuit can give 1-3 Guts, Silvertongue Syrup 1-3 Charm, and Viridescent Tea 1-3 Wits. Other sought after items are also available in the shop's rotation. See further below for a complete list of those items.
- Rux Gambling (Equipment selection is refreshed at the start of the daily reset)
- At Rux's Recovered Rarities, common, silver and crystal equipment is available for purchase at the cost of Essences.
- A common piece of equipment cost Marks.
- Silver and Crystal equipment cost Essences of their corresponding type, except where an Essence wouldn't drop in that zone, then it cost Essence of the next zone's tier. Below on this page you'll find a table for the possible Silver/Crystal equipment sold at Rux's and their cost.
- Essence discount! All single slot Silver and Crystal equipment are subject to a discount of (3) Essences, and Right/Left has a discount of (4) Essence - if one has a common piece of the same equipment in their backpack when they purchase a Silver or Crystal piece of equipment. Crystal Reverse Dreadblade has a discount of (6) Essences of Abyss with a regular Reverse Dreadblade for a total cost of (18).
- At Rux's Recovered Rarities, common, silver and crystal equipment is available for purchase at the cost of Essences.
Common equipment and items/consumables listed for sale at Rux's will also refresh/update when your character reaches the level thresholds to equip new gear. These would be Levels 16, 21, 26, 31, 33, and 36. Be sure to check back if you reach these levels while questing!
